
The Chicago Methamphetamine Task Force (CMTF) is a community-led initiative dedicated to addressing the impact of methamphetamine use among Black gay, bisexual, and same-gender-loving men in Chicago. In collaboration with the Chicago Department of Public Health (CDPH) and local organizations, CMTF works to reduce harm, provide education, and advocate for resources.
Key initiatives include the "Don’t Die High" campaign, promoting fentanyl testing strips and naloxone distribution to prevent overdoses, as well as town halls, community surveys, and harm reduction programs. Through education, advocacy, and direct support, CMTF is committed to improving health outcomes and empowering the community.
